Imagine frequenting your go-to eatery and when your order arrives planted smack in-between the lettuce and tomatoes is a crisp slice of
money.
Not a US grade A succulent and tender cut of poultry but hard cold (toasted in this case) cash. Strange?
Well isn’t money like a barnyard fowl?
This bird (money) has no wings but will quickly fly the coop at the hint of a hazard.
It has no legs but will run far and fast from assaults on its value.
It has no eyes but can spot danger a far off and “seeks” a safer path.
When it comes to money in all its forms, it is downright Chicken!
Mickey D’s and Chick-fil-A could not serve up a more tender bird.
Chew on that the next time you leave your money sitting in a savings account at 1% while inflation is at 6% or the next time you visit your fave chicken joint. And don’t forget your side order of fries!
